I have to rate a three, it is a great idea though and with some modifications it works! First, lasagne noodles do not have to be cooked. Use them dry (the normal ones, not the "quick ones") and cover the whole thing with foil during cooking, uncover it for the last bit to brown. You wind up with a rich lasange that is not watery. I use toothpicks...
