Excellent flavor. It was even better the next day. Freezes beautifully. Beware: it makes a huge amount.... I will use this recipe again and again.

okay is all I can say....I followed directions. I enjoyed the dish but would not make again. Does not remind me of any red beans and rice I have ever consumed. Love Alton, but not this dish"

It reminded me a great deal of potato soup. However, it was too thin. Next time I would use ONE quart of broth. I even used the immersion blender, and it's just too thin. Wonderful flavor. Ree makes me smile:) "

I brined the chicken as one reviewer suggested. That was a positive. Otherwise, it was as if these ingredients didn't marry very well. Also my dish turned out watery. It was not very eye appealing either. Love Ree but not this dish. Beef and snowpeas from this episode was phenomenal!!!"

This was fabulous. The sauce is better than restaurant quality. One suggestion: Unless you REALLY love ginger, back off of the one tablespoon. It was a bit much. Use your imagination with veggies and make this your very own..... Love you Ree."

Would not make again. It turned out dry, and it was a great deal of work. Nothing a beginner cook should try. It was okay when it was hot out of oven. Did NOT reheat well.

absolutely the best mashed potatoes ever!!! I agree with everything Ree did except the butter. I would cut back to 1.5 sticks. When I put the butter on the top at the end, it had puddled when I took potatoes out of oven. I love preparing in advance except the baking part. Thank you Ree. Love your show!"

Reviewed Chicken Noodle Soup

Feb 16, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I read many reviews. I am about to sum it up. Delicious. BUT you must cook the noodles separately, then add them. This keeps soup juice in the soup. Secondly, puree the vegetables from the stock and add to soup mixture. Do these two things and the soup is the absolute best ever. ""

Only try this IF you have stand-by viniagrette to put on it. It has virtually no taste. I decided to put a lemon viniagrette on it and eat it cold. It turned out fine. But, as is, don't try it. Love the Neely's, but no on this recipe..."
