Loved this recipe! I made slight changes to make it my own and bit healthier. As a child, my mom made dumpling rounds and they were always too doughy. I rolled the dumplings out like biscuits and cut into squares (substituted buttermilk instead of milk). My boyfriend who grew up in Louisiana really enjoyed it! *Note it does take some time and patients...
