Replied to Margarita Cheesecake Recipe : Food Network

Jun 5, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I have a convection oven, so I baked it at 325 instead of 350, and I had to bake it for an hour and 23 minutes before it was set. I baked it an additional 7 minutes after adding the topping. It came out great. I would definitely make this again.

I've tried many chocolate cake recipes, and this one is now my favorite. The cake is very moist and chocolaty....absolutely delicious!! The frosting is very sweet, but pairs well with the cake. "

These are FANTASTIC! Maybe the best gluten-free recipe I've ever tried. I used a whole egg, 2/3 cup Splenda instead of the sugars, 1-1/3 cup gluten-free baking flour instead of the tapioca starch, rice flour and millet flour, and 1/2 cup applesauce instead of oil. I omitted the pumpkin seeds. I made 6 jumbo muffins that not only looked great, but...

I tripled the recipe and used 1 lb. lamb and 2 lbs. ground beef. I used a large white onion for the scallions and 1/2 cup bread crumbs for the semolina. I also added a couple teaspoons of chopped garlic. I formed the mixture into 16 patties and cooked them on the grill. I put them in pitas with dill sauce, feta cheese and chopped tomatoes. Delicio"

The first time I made this, following the recipe exactly with the exception of using broth instead of wine, it came out good, but the cinnamon flavor was overpowering and the meat was a little dry. The next time I made it, I decreased the cinnamon from 1 tablespoon to 1 teaspoon and added another half a can of tomatoes to the sauce and it came ou...

These were so good! The directions were easy to follow, and they came out moist and delicious. I used 2 large apples and golden raisins. I had enough batter for 14 jumbo muffins, which I baked for 32 minutes. They smelled great and tasted even better.""

What a great idea to use potatoes for the crust! I used fresh potatoes, which I grated and squeezed dry in a dish towel. I also used whole milk instead of half and half. It smelled and tasted great. It even tasted good left over. Another winning recipe from Paula!

I made this for Christmas dinner and everyone loved it. I made extra gravy and poured it over noodles. I added nutmeg and allspice to the gravy, which gave it a nice flavor. The meatballs were a little tough and could have used more milk and/or water added. Overall, very delicious and pretty quick and easy dish to prepare.
