"Seen the actual "Throwdown" episode and wanted to make these wings. My son and his wife wanted to make a dinner together and I brought these wings. They loved them (me too). The chimichurri sauce is very good with the wings. I also put blue cheese dressing with them in case the chimi sauce didn't go over, but it did. I used a fry daddy fryer which worked out well. Other than I had to discard the oil. No problem. I will certainly make these again. Next time I will use the dark rum. It's alittle expensive. Great recipe Bobby. Susy from Ohio

"Seen the actual "Throwdown "show and wanted to make them. Had a dinner with my son & his wife and brought this. I watched my son's eyes light up when he tried his first bite (he dipped it in the chimichurri sauce) he said "oh man, are these good". I didn't use the dark rum, but next time I will. I made the chimi sauce and also had blue cheese dressing in case the chimi sauce wasn't a hit. But it was...I have a dinner to go to in a couple of weeks and I am going to take them there. I used a fry daddy fryer and that worked well. Other than I discarded the oil after making them. Thanks for a great recipe Bobby. Susy from Ohio

"When my son took his first bite (dipping it in the sauce) I watched him. His face lit up and and said "Oh, man this is good". They didn't last too long. He wants the recipe. I am thinking of making the dry rub ingredients ahead and put them in a zip lock just to be ahead of the recipe.

"Seen the actual Throwdown episode and decided to make it for a gathering with son & daughter in law. We loved it. Kids really liked the chimichurri sauce. I also serve it with blue cheese dressing just in case they didn't like the chimichurri sauce. But it went in no time. I used regular rum. But next time I will get the dark for sure. I also used my fry daddy fryer which worked well. However, I threw away oil after I made the wings. But this is a great recipe. I have a dinner to go to in a couple of weeks.
