My Activity

Reviewed Tiramisu

"This recipe is ok. I prefer using my other recipe that requires you to make a zabaglione first. I should have stuck with my usual instead of changing things up! ""

Reviewed Chocolate Truffles

"These truffles are excellent! I used all semi sweet chocolate and I substituted Frangelico for the Grand Marnier. I will make these again soon!""

Reviewed Chicken Piccata

"This recipe is so easy and delicious! I doubled the recipe and did not find the sauce too lemony.

Reviewed Ancho Chicken Tortilla Soup

"The soup was great! Instead of using the rotisserie chicken, I poached 2 chicken breasts with onion, carrot, parsley, pepper and salt. Next, I shredded the chicken, strained the vegetables and reserved the broth for thinning the soup. As suggested by other reviewers, I added pepperjack cheese. I really enjoyed the tortillas topping! Also, thanks Rochelle for your tip about the ancho chile...I was able to find it much easier!

Reviewed Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Cake

"The icecream cake was rich and delicious! My husband said it was better than the icecream cake we bought at Cold Stone (and that was pretty tasty). Since my husband and I LOVE coffee, I used homemade coffee icecream from a local chocolate/icecream parlor for the vanilla/peppermint part. I did not have a problem cutting the cake as others mentioned. I crushed the cookies in a food processor making sure all the cookies were a fine crumb.... Insuring that all the cookie crumbs are fine will prevent problems with cutting. Much harder to cut through a larger frozen cookie crumb/piece than a small/fine crumb :-)

Reviewed Hot Crab Dip

"When there is dip left over after 2 football games...you know it was not a hit....especially with my husband around! I followed the recipe to a T. I should have....and will add to it now....more Old Bay and more hot sauce to kick the flavor up a bit as suggested by another reviewer.
