My Activity

Reviewed Duchess Potatoes

"I made these for Christmas dinner; These were very tasty but without a rice miller as suggested it was super hard work and my hands locked up from all the hard work. I am not sure that all the extra work was worth the result. The actual recipe is very good; after all it has heavy cream and butter in it alongside with egg yolk all that fat is bound""

Reviewed PW's Prime Rib with Rosemary Salt Crust

"Simply amazing; This was my first try at making a Prime Rib and it turned out perfect even with a few fumbles. I love "fancy food" as my family says and they don't so this was a great meeting of the minds. The salt crust made the meat flavorful and downright yummy as long as you didn't eat it all on its own. A very successful Christmas dinner made""

Reviewed Creamy Caramel Sauce

"I am pretty avid baker and this was my first time ever making caramel. I used a candy thermometer which I highly recommend. I made two batches on an electric stove. The first I burnt the sugar so I had to do the sugar portion over again. The second batch I put it in a smaller pot and on the little burner and it yielded a better result. You get quite a bit of caramel from the recipe and we are planing on using it for apple dip as well as the pie that goes with this.
