"Overall the pie was very good, everyone enjoyed it. I pre-read reviews and changed my ratios-used 6 total cups of fruit (4 cups strawberry and 2 cups rhubarb). Reviewed Chocolate Truffles

"Have made these for the past two Christmas seasons. They are time consuming, and they are a mess, but they turn out pretty good (although maybe not the prettiest truffles you've ever seen). I do recommend cutting back on the amount of brandy. I hardly add any, otherwise the inside is a little too gooey (and I don't like my truffles to be too booze-y). Additionally, I always replace some of the semi-sweet chocolate with milk chocolate. Rolling in toasted coconut seems to be the most popular flavor among friends and coworkers.

Reviewed Bob's Peppermint Pie

"It is edible, but barely. I must've gone wrong somewhere...the gelatin broke up into chunks, so you just fine a bite of gel in the middle of your bite of pie. The flavor is a little too mild, but that's could've been fixed...I just don't know how to fix the texture. Also, people weren't kidding about it taking a long time to melt those candies, it was WAY longer than the recipe said it would be to make this pie.
