My Activity

Reviewed Super Nachos

"This is my new go-to Nacho recipe. I did modify some by buying the Pico de Gallo Salsa from the Deli counter at my local grocery store. Instead of using the jalepeno, salt, chili powder, and cumin for the beef topping, I used a package of my favorite Taco seasoning. I also added a pinch of salt to the cheese sauce, which made the sauce outstandin"

Reviewed Minnie's Chocolate Pie from the Help

"Excellent recipe! I modified a little by adding 1/4 t. salt and using 4 T. of cocoa powder. I also baked a bit longer (approx 1 hour, 15 minutes) until it was not jiggly in the center. This recipe is a keeper!"

Reviewed Pat's Spicy Peach Hot Wings

"EXCELLENT is correct! These wings exactly what i've been looking for. I love hot wings and these have the right twist that i've been looking for. I modified a litte and seasoned my wings with Tony's Chachere Creole seasoning and garlic powder, I used Franks instead of Tabasco and I added 1 t. of crushed red pepper as suggested from others. Definitely a keeper!

Reviewed Beatty's Chocolate Cake

"Egg yolk??? Can someone tell me what does the egg yolk suppose to do for the frosting? I was very skeptical about using the raw egg yolk, but it turned out great. I made cupcakes and baked them for about 17-19 minutes. The cake is nice, moist and DELICIOUS!! The only thing I didn't do was add the instant coffee in the icing, but I may use it the next time to get a little bit more coffee flavor.

Reviewed Sliders with Chipotle Mayonnaise

"The Chipotle sauce was a hit in my house! Does anyone know how long it will last in the refridgerator? I didn't make the beef sliders, but used ground turkey instead. I also baked sweet potato fries to go along and used the sauce for dipping. This is a keeper!
