Reviewed blackberry cobbler

3 days ago on FoodNetwork.com

Just not a favorite. Too much sugar on top and no real flavor. I'll keep looking for a recipe. It was simple enough to make and similar to an easy peach cobbler recipe I make which has much more flavor. I may try that one and substitute the berries.

I concur completely. I have only used large eggs and my regular cake pans. Somewhere down the line you may have measured incorrectly. I would give it another try. It really is a great cake recipe.

I have made Beef Stroganoff for years, but always wondered why my beef ended up so tough. I prepared this exactly like the directions indicated and the meat was tender. This dish was so delicious. I didn't want to use the tomato paste but wanted to see how it would be with it. I missed the wine in it but the lemon juice was there to compensate...

I can never do cakes well. This was my last attempt at a homemade cake. It worked beautifully. Moist, springy, deep rich flavor. When using the instant coffee for the frosting I used expresso powder which worked out excellent. I also used what it called for instant coffee which was very good also. I have also made this cake medicated for patients...

Very flavorful and easy. I will definitely do this again. I just had chicken thighs, and it decided to rain so I had to forego the BBQ. I put them in the oven on roast and it came out great. I almost didn't do the topping because I didn't think I would like it, but changed my mind and it just intensified the marinade flavors."

It was just okay. It seemed a little on the dry side and the flavor was a little lack luster."

A lot more work than my version for just a different flair. I've made mine for years and my girls jump for joy - literally. Rinse my peas throw in ham hocks or better yet left over ham bone with some meat still on salt, pepper garlic to taste, water or chicken broth; rinse my peas throw in crockpot altogther leave on low and ready when I come ho...

"I lost my recipe that I had from the 70s which I got out of Parade magazine. I think it was called something else back then. It only had the basic ingredients. No pineapple, coconut, etc. It had carrots, walnuts and spices. It used a cream cheese frosting which is simple & I can do. I have searched everywhere. If anyone has it I would be for..."
