Very different recipe! I substituted canned, drained & rinsed cannellini beans for the dried beans to save time. Salad was a big hit and has been added to the family recipe book. Nice to serve with a pasta meal.

Best apple cake recipe! Made it for family and followed the recipe exactly---very moist and delicious. I had to hide it from myself so I did not keep cutting small pieces off and popping them into my mouth. This will become a family classic!

Easy to make and delicious! I followed the cake recipe exactly but cut the quantity of frosting in half--it was still more than enough for an 8" cake. Thank you, Ina, for another good recipe!
