Delicious although as in the photo, it does separate very quickly. Next time I would probably use pineapple juice.

Excellent basic tomato sauce recipe. I'd give it five stars but 1/2 cup olive oil seems a little extreme and I wonder if it's a misprint. I used about 1-1/2 tablespoons, which was enough to cook the garlic and onions, but not enough to leave a slick on top of the sauce. So good! Cooking down half the berries really helps to cut down how liquid the filling is after the pie is baked. I didn't have any problems with having too many berries although my pan may be a bit deeper than others. Loved the crust!"
