"I made this because I had an "elderly" leek in my fridge with no idea what to do with it. I made half a recipe due to only having one leek and I thought the soup was delightful. I admit I cheated and used store purchased focaccia croutons instead of making my own but would make this soup again and again. I too used only stock and not water (what's the point?). I also added red pepper flakes to give it a kick! YUM."

"I have made this three times...PERFECT! There is more dough than needed but I use the extra for buns without the filling that bake alongside the rolls. The dough itself is gorgeous and when the filling and icing is added it is just wonderful. Make these...you won't regret it!"

"I usually read the reviews prior to making a recipe but neglected to do so this time. I too had trouble with the jam leaking out of the bottoms of a few. I think I made the indentions too deep. The cookie part spread out farther than I expected, I think the dough needed more flour. I am going to try these again with modification in ingredients and technique. They tasted great but weren't pretty.
