Just made this tonight and it was superb! The recipe says to cook the bacon for a "minute or so" but I think it's better if you cook it until it's crisp. The absolute best ginger cookie I ever had! Ina has done it again! I followed the instructions to a tee and baked it in a convection oven at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
