Delicious! I added cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of Grand Marnier to the mix. I also lightly toasted the bread before soaking in the egg mixture. I make a french toast casserole with a similar recipe and it is so good. Easy, tasty and not overly sweet!

I love the flavors in this pumpkin pie. Very complex and just what pumpkin pie should taste like. My problem is that I can't get the pie to set in the baking time noted in the recipe. I have both over and under baked it. Are the posted temperature and baking time correct?

This was such a refreshing salad and change of pace. I made it exactly as written the first time. Next time, i'll substitute the parsnips for butternut squash. The apple cider vinaigrette was divine---I doubled it and enjoyed it on salads for over a week. There's so much you can do with this basic recipe.

I roasted the carrots and squash in a 375* oven for about 25 minutes, while the other veggies were sauting in the pot. I added the squash and carrots when done, with a touch of cinnamon for warmth. I think the roasting brought out the sweet, rich flavor of the squash and carrots. I added the mascarpone and syrup as written above at the end--and...

Spectacular! Followed the recipe exactly as written and it was delicious. Instead of bacon, next time i'll try toasted chopped walnuts or pecans. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

It needed something........ I followed the recipe exactly as written. The soup was merely okay--and it tasted like it needed something, but I wasn't sure what. I whisked in a 1/4 cup of good maple syrup which helped; I then added 4 oz of mascarpone cheese. Better, but still was missing a richness or fullness of flavor. I'm thinking it needs another...

This recipe was so so. The sauce was tasty but we were surprised at the lack of apple flavor. If I make this again, I would add cslvados brandy as another reviewer suggested. I would also cut down on the onion. The pork was very tender but the taste needed to have more oomph "

My guests really enjoyed this salad. We tried to prep a few hours in advance; the salad greens did not remain crisp. We had to chop the apples right before serving, which was a pain.
