My Activity

Reviewed Crispy Kale "Chips"

"This is a great way to eat more kale, which is one of the most nutritious vegetables available. I really like the crispy texture of them. You need to be realistic- they will never be a substitute for potato chips, but they are a great snack."

Reviewed Egg-in-a-Hole

"This is probably the only recipe I remember from my high school home economics class (we called it Rabbit in a Hole). It's very simple to make and very tasty. And it's unique, so it impresses people you cook it for. Just ensure your hole is the right size (not too big and not too small. Eat one for a light breakfast or two for a filling option."

Reviewed Sourdough Bread Stuffing

"I made stuffing from scratch for the first time using this recipe. It was pretty easy to make, and tasted very good. It smelled and looked great as well. I made it vegetarian by using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. Like others, I used less broth so it would retain a little crunch."

Reviewed The Baked Potato

"Very easy to do and very tasty. I topped it off with cheese, sour cream, and some butter. "

Reviewed Grandma Jean's Potato Salad

"The dish came out okay but it definitely had too much of a mustard flavor (and I normally love mustard). I would cut back to 2 tablespoons of mustard. Overall though, I prefer Ina Garten's potato salad recipe to this one."

Reviewed Pumpkin Cheesecake

"I recently got a springform pan and decided to use this recipe as our first cheesecake trial. It came out with a terrific taste and consistency. I will make this again in the future. The only negative is that the crack in the middle was even bigger than I had expected. Next time I may have to use the water bath suggestion to eliminate cracks.""

Reviewed Potato Salad

"We made this for a July 4th BBQ. It was the first time we've ever made potato salad, and it came out excellent. People were fighting over who got to take home the leftovers! We used baby Yukon Gold potatoes."
