My Activity

I have no recent activity to share.

About Me

My home is in a large midwestern city, which I really love. Happily I LOVE to say I'm a RETIRED Executive Assistant/Secretary, whose "work" is her fun! Yippee! Yahoo! I love anything artsy/crafty, concerts (symphony types), dining out, baking, reading, sewing, taking pictures, spending time with my grandchildren (they don't live nearby-Boo-Hoo!). I love nature, spring, flowers, travel, singing, and my passion is being around children who've been deprived - of love, of discipline, beautiful clothes, cultural things, special treats, little or big things that create wonderful memories and last, but certainly not least, any who don't know about Jesus. And those pet peeves? Oh my - someone who takes the last of something without letting anyone know, someone who holds up traffic because of their (grrrr!) cell phone or their make-up, children and adults who don't know or don't practice common courtesies, undisciplined (parents) children. Now that's enough negative, right?!?!

Favorite Foods

In the protein dept.: chicken and/or fish, most every fresh vegetable, same for fresh fruit. Since I've lived long enough to have many favorites - a favorite dish to cook would be Chicken Neopolitan, my favorite dish to bake and that which I'm also famous for - chocolate chip cookies. I was the "chocolate chip cookie Mom" when my children were growing up. All the kids in the neighborhood knew, if they brought over a bag of chocolate chips that I'd be makin' everyone some chocolate chip cookies. My favorite restaurant? where I can find great alfredo sauce dishes (most Italian I love) {and I'm Dutch/Scotch Irish}, and/or great breakfasts 24/7.
