My Activity

Reviewed Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup

"This soup was as fun to make as it was to eat! I added 16 oz of white mushrooms and subbed onions for the leeks. Also held back three kitchen spoonfuls of the cooked mushrooms/onions; then reintroduced after the immersion blend step--this adds a chew component to the soup, which I like. Finished with cilantro instead of parsley. Wonderful textures, flavors, and aromas."

Reviewed Gina's Pumpkin Cheesecake

"We hit it out of the park with this one! My first time making a pumpkin cheesecake. I'm so glad I picked Gina's! Sandy loved the Ginger Snap crust and insists that's the way I make cheesecake from now on. The filling was subtly spicy and surprisingly light. The cinammon topping was also wonderful. I will be making this recipe for years to come. Thanks Gina.

Reviewed Red Devil Cranberries

"This was a big winner at the Thanksgiving table this year. Sandy called it "Tweetness"--tart and sweet. The serrano chiles along with the chipotles in adobo sauce made this side dish. We loved the Southwestern kick....It was awesome on the turkey sandwich the next day! This is a new tradition for our Turkey Day meal! And for any other meal, too. Thanks Guy.
