Of course you have to "take the time to set there and seperate it all"...sheesh. It's called a recipe and it's for Savory French Toast with homemade sausage. If you want a sausage recipe, go look for one.

What spices would you add? Do you smoke?

This dish doesn't need any spices. It has a wonderful depth to the flavors that doesn't require an advanced pallet to enjoy or sense.

Easy to make, delicious to eat. Thank you Rachel, for your take on an old favorite.

For those of you who had problems making the dish, my advice to you is to follow the recipe exactly. To make sure your pan and oil are hot, look for ripples on the surface of the oil or a light smoke. Take a drop of water and throw it in the pan...

To Shileyjp from Lancaster: These boards are for rating recipes and not for your personal comments to the chef. I've never seen her do what you describe and in fact, she's a stickler for such behavior.

Regarding the receipe, I LOVE IT!
It was easy to make and my family wants me to make it again and again.

I made these tonight, along with the chicken dish from the show.

You have to really love blue cheese to like these and I don't. The flavor is very sour, much like blue cheese. I didn't care for it.

This was the first time I watched this show and made anything from it. I don't think I'll be watching again....
