My Activity

Reviewed Vinaigrette For Green Salad

"Simple. Delicious. Whipped this up to dress the salad I took to a friends dinner. You know it's a hit when you're asked for the recipe! I'll repeat what has been said here because it's important ~ use good quality oil and champagne vinegar. Colavita is the brand available in my neck of the woods."

Reviewed Mango Margaritas

"Our store didn't have mangoes so I used peaches instead. Delicious but I still want to make this with mangoes. Zesting the lime and adding it to the sugar is well worth the few minutes it takes!"

Reviewed Marinated Tomato Salad with Herbs

"Our grocery store had Nature Sweet Cherry tomatoes on sale this week for $1 (usually $2.99 so I tried this recipe using them. They were large so I just cut them in half and I used a very high quality balsamic vinegar. The brown sugar was a nice addition without being overly sweet. I accidentally omitted the olive oil and it wasn't missed at all"

Reviewed Cowboy Breakfast Sandwiches

"We made these on our Memorial weekend camping trip. YUMMY! They really need the Texas toast to hold up to all the good fixin's inside. We skipped the jalepenos but from all the comments here we will definitely try them next time. The perfect sandwich spread for these is Durkee's Famous Sauce if you can find it. I ended up having to make a cop"
