"Ok, y'all, it is now football season! And that means we Southern gals need to make our men folk happy! So I tried this recipe today. And we in our family have two VERY picky men when it comes to mac-n-cheese. Well, let's just say -- this one here pleased BOTH men. Hmmm. And I have to say, I liked it very much, myself.

I truly believe that this recipe is good for people who really like the kind of recipe that "stands up" rather than the recipe that is very soupy.

And make sure and follow the advice of the reviewer(s) who suggested using hand-grated rather than pre-grated cheese -- really makes all the difference!
