Reviewed polvorones (mexican wedding cookies)

Dec 3, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Thank you, Marcela, for a delicious recipe. I have enjoyed Mexican Wedding cookies throughout the years, but today is the first time I've ever attempted to make them -- just baked a batch. Maybe it was beginner's luck, but the end result is wonderful.

Good and fresh-tasting. Excellent flavor and very easy. Used a stick blender in the pot rather than a food mill or food processor. Better than anything you can purchase in a jar or can.

Reviewed rib eye steak with onion blue cheese sauce

Nov 9, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Already have a husband who knows how to grill a mean steak. My comments are about the blue cheese sauce. Over-the-moon good. Thought it might be too rich, but no -- it was perfect. We halved the recipe as it's just the two of us. Go ahead and use the recommended amount of Worcestershire -- it's just fine, especially when combined with the steak. My...

As Ms. Paula would say: "Stupid easy." This shrimp dish has become a staple in our household -- at least once a week, or whenever shrimp goes on sale. We halve it, since it's just the two of us (we can, between the two of us and being shrimp lovers, easily polish off a pound of shrimp each in a sitting). We do two pounds of shrimp and then just halve...

Like the other reviewer here, I think the protein mixture would make an excellent meatloaf, mini meatloaves, or meatballs. That being said, this mixture is WONDERFUL in the veg called for. At first we we were enamored with the zuc and red peppers. But as leftovers, the green bell pepper (we had to substitute, as this is what we had on hand at the "

Serious waste of ingredients. I have no idea why this came out so bitter. Just plain awful. If I';d wanted Southern greens, I would have gone for it. This recipe, however, was out of this world bitter. I';ll go to the real Threadgill';s in the future for the real stuff."

Ok, y'all, it is now football season! And that means we Southern gals need to make our men folk happy! So I tried this recipe today. And we in our family have two VERY picky men when it comes to mac-n-cheese. Well, let's just say -- this one here pleased BOTH men. Hmmm. And I have to say, I liked it very much, myself.

I truly...
