However, this last time I made them they didn't turn out so well. I'm wondering if I used the wrong molasses it was called blackstrap molasses, and the beans turned out really dark looking and seemed to have a strange taste. Weird, I must have done something wrong, because they were amazing the first time!"

"Now i like complicated recipes with lots of ingredients and spending lots of time baking... but for a quick fix these are EXCELLENT! So impressed with the simpleness of the 3 ingredients, and the great tasting cookies. I even did half a cup of splenda and half a cup of sugar (makes me feel better about indulging) and they still tasted great!"
