This is amazing and delicious. I have a question though ..I have wrapped my fruitcake in waxed paper and then in cling wrap as I don't have air tight box so when I check them they don't seem to be dry ..is it okay to still spritz them with rum ? Any assistance would be helpful.

Also for shackles2garlands ..I don't like the sulphured...

This cake is what is needed for a nice chocolate craving. Thick and rich and mmmm chocolately!! When I had a piece of it straight from the pan, it was almost like a flour less cake, so I thought I goofed up somewhere but after reading the reviews, it's all good! This cake definitely ages well ...
