Reviewed Hearty Meatball Stew

Great recipe. I used 1/3 cup dried bread crumbs, and added some fresh basil. I agree with other reviewers--you could add more vegetables very easily. You could quibble and say this is is more like a heavy soup, than a stew. A hit either way.""

The Contessa comes through again. First recipe for baked sweet potato fries that we would make again. Very tasty. Nice ratio of sweet to heat. Sliced much thinner than the instructions called for. Never going to be deep fried crispy, we're ok with that.""

Reviewed Round 2 Recipe: French Stew

Made this with a change to the basic bean recipe. Used 4 ounces of applewood smoked bacon. Made the stew with turkey kielbasa and no breadcrumb topping. Very tasty.""

Reviewed Beans and Bacon Macaroni

We liked this recipe, but with two major changes. First, used 4 ounces of apple wood smoked bacon, much less fat and lots of flavor. Second, used no pasta at all -- just treated as a bean side dish. Next time, will make with black beans, think that will be perfect.
