My Activity

Reviewed Surf 'n Turf Paella

"Very excellent taste! The easiest Paella I've ever made. We made two nights ago and enjoyed it a lot! My husband is a lover of spicy food so we did discuss adding some jalapenos or some other pepper next time...just for a little kick. Excellent recipe and will be making it again.

Reviewed Sweet and Sour Chicken

"Great recipe. Followed it completely and it was delicious. My husband was thrilled with it also...he finished the "leftovers" =] The sauce is easy to make, the ingredients are bright and colorful. Just an all around good meal that doesn't leave you feeling heavy and tired!

Reviewed Slow-Cooker Brisket Sandwiches

"AMAZING! This was so freaking good that we made it again the next week! We have made it since, substituting a different roast for the brisket. Each one has turned out excellent and so tender. The flavors sound weird at first but they come together wonderfully. And it's so easy to put it in the slow cooker and walk away! Great tasting recipe and super easy!

Reviewed Pulled Pork

"Excellent flavors! Just make sure if you get a pork loin that is a different size than the recipe calls for, adjust the rest of it accordingly! We both really enjoyed this and it was simple to make. I was worried that it wouldn't cook as quickly as it said...of course it did!

Reviewed Grilled Chicken Tostadas al Carbon with Grilled Tomatillos and Queso Fresco

"I have to admit that we cheated a little on this one. =] It was freezing out so we made it inside with the broiler. But, it turned out great and we both really enjoyed it! THe Tomatillos are an excellent touch. Very simple but easy to make....both inside and out!

Reviewed Broiled Halibut with Ricotta-Pea Puree

"Loved it! I noticed someone said the flavors didn't go together, that is crazy! The onions aren't over powering if you use the correct type...but substituting others in can make it that way. The puree is a must have, it completes the dish. We both loved this one and have made it a couple of times.

Reviewed Chicken and Bean Burrito Verde

"I was questioning the part of putting the beans in the food processor, but it turned out great. Very tasty and simple to make.
