"In reply to PPI about the flatness of the cookies. Cookies made with all butter are flat. Cookies made with shortening (Crisco) are fatter cookies, more cake like instead of flat & chewy.
For cookies that are perfect for me, I use butter flavored Crisco in all of my cookie recipes. Works perfect every time. Hope this helps!"
