These are fantastic! I omit dates and add chocolate chips. I bake for half the time as another reviewer suggested. Chewy texture and I haven't had trouble cutting. If you have trouble, cool completely and then refrigerate before cutting. I also add chopped dried apricots.

This is delicious! Have made this several times and I can never make enough. The glaze needs a light touch and I use a pointed tip plastic squeeze bottle to apply. You will have leftover glaze. Beautiful as well."
