Reviewed crispy mustard-roasted chicken

Mar 4, 2014 on

This chicken was excellent and worthy enough to serve to company! I followed the recipe EXACTLY with all measured ingredients and a whole cut up chicken. I don't understand why some readers say it was soggy unless they completely coated the chicken pieces in panko crumbs! Remember, only on skin side up. I didn't think it was salty; we loved it...

Reviewed Homemade Gravy

Nov 28, 2013 on

Just had this gravy with our Thanksgiving meal and it was absolutely delicious! I did add the cream and cognac and it was perfect. My gravy was salty but that's because I didn't realize my turkey drippings were very spicy. I was able to fix this by adding more chicken broth (no salt) Next time, however, I will add the salt AFTER adding the other...

EXCELLENT! My Mexican potato salad is similar to this recipe; I used 4lbs. of potatoes and did not add the tomatoes, cayenne pepper or garlic to this dish; you have to add all the mayo though! I always add extra cilantro to my salad and I also topped it with smoked paprika. Delicious! "

These Lemon Bars are perfect and delicious! If you follow the recipe exactly, including chilling the dough, you won't have a problem. These were perfect lemony/tart/sweet; just make sure not to add your powdered sugar until right before serving. The crust is also delicious. These were the hit of my dessert bar at my recent family reunion, alon"

These are the best brownies my fiance and I have ever had! I followed the recipe exactly except I used 2T of coffee granules instead of 3 since some fans suggested the coffee taste was too strong. But if you love coffee like we do, then add all 3 T !! I too screwed the recipe not realizing that "1lb and 12 ounces of chocolate chips" meant "1lb "

What a wonderful recipe! I served it Thanksgiving week along with one of Ina's roasted turkey recipes, and her cranberry sauce she's been making for years! I never like to invite anyone to dinner unless I have tried the recipes first! Unbeknownst to me, my fiance invited the neighbors next door for dinner and when we all sat down to eat, my ...
