Reviewed Winning Recipe Caramel Apple Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Frosting
"TERRIBLE!!! The texture did not come out right....too much sugar...way too sweet...VERY disappointing. The flavor could have been good if the texture had come out right. These recipes are, apparently "scaled down" and it doesn't seem as though anyone is actually testing the scaled down versions. I have yet to be truly pleased with any of the "Cupcake Wars" recipes that I have tested...I don't know...maybe my expectations are higher than normal?!
