My Activity

Reviewed Black and White Cookies

"Too bad. I was going for a quick and easy and I was so disappointed.
I switched it up after the first few and just took some of the dough and added some cocoa powder to make the 'black'. Then rolled out the dough and using a donut cutter cut the cookies. Fill the center of the cookies with the opposite color. You'll have black centers in some an""

Reviewed Sausage, Peppers and Onions Stoup

"Like so many of your recipes, DELICIOUS!!! That's all I can say about it.
I slow simmered it for several hours and used Anaheim chili's. Those were the only changes.
I will definitely make it again, and again, and again!"

Reviewed Hot Dog Noodle Casserole

"This is a very tasty dish and unless you think that eating hot dogs is redneck, totally not. I made this last night and my husband loved it. I did make a few changes. I used smoked sausage as that is what I had on hand. Saute'd them in the bacon grease then added it to the soup mix. I also used cream of celery and Jack cheese. I will make it again"

Reviewed Coconut Cake

"I wish I could upload a picture of this cake. It was beautiful! Coconut cake is my husbands favorite so I made this for him as his Fathers' Day cake. Reviewed Dry-Rubbed Rib-Eye

"WAY TOO MUCH SALT! I used kosher salt as recommended by dbreathe_9845761 and this rub absolutely ruined my beautiful Easter Rib-Eye Steak dinners.
Should have listened to you ks100 :-(
Anne, I love you and watch your show religiously. But readers, do yourself a favor and use another recipe for rub. Sorry Anne."

Reviewed Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

"This dish is amazing. I believe the picture is a mistake. There is another recipe exactly like this one with less ratings. In making it I did not drain rinse the pasta. I added it just after draining to the shrimp. The pasta was infused with all the lovely lemony and garlic flavors. The parsley added a very fresh taste to the dish. My husband and I thought it was the best Linguine Shrimp Scampi ever! Easy and quick to make and a million dollar meal . . . Thank you Ida :-)

Reviewed Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

"I made this last night for dinner and it was WONDERFULLY Delish. I did not rinse the pasta and I added it to the shrimp while it was very warm. The pasta was flavored beautifully with the lemon and garlic flavors. The parsley added a freshness to the dish. Do yourself a favor and make extra pasta. . . Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
