Reviewed Thomas Jefferson's Sweet Potato Biscuits

"Had these at City Tavern - made them up for my family just before Hurrican Sandy hit - they were so easy and delicious - total comfort food as we live in the aftermath of the storm. Memories made."

Reviewed Chocolate Croissants

"Nigella is a Goddess and when you make these, the recipients will think you are a Goddess too. So easy. I have made them several times and note that they come out much better when pastry is nice and cold and oven is good and hot. Thanks Nigella for a simple WOW.

Reviewed Dried Cherry Almond Scones

"These are so delicious. Like other reviewers my dough was a bit too dry so used 3/4 c cream, otherwise followed exactly and they came out beautifully. I made two small discs of 8 scones each for smaller scones to serve at a school breakfast. Did not make honey butter but will next time. Can't wait to make again.""

Reviewed Tagliatelle with Smashed Peas, Sausage, and Ricotta Cheese

"Really tasty, really easy and really simple ingredients. Tagliatelle isn't easy for me to find so I used Pappardelle, which
I'm sure made no difference. Great meal for nights when you need
something quick.""

Reviewed Cold Cucumber Soup

"This is the answer to our sweltering summer months in PA. So cool and refreshing. Each bite offers a different and delicious bite. I use fat-free everything for dietary restrictions but with all the wonderful flavors no one knows. This is the dish everyone requests when I offer to bring a something to a gathering. ""

Reviewed French Onion Tart

"Not enough. This is so delicious you must make more than one. My daughter chose to serve this at her holiday gathering. I helped out in the kitchen. Love everything about it - easy to make, the smell of the onions, thyme and stock (I added a hint of red wine while cooking down and then the look after they're done. I also added a little shredded gruyere and popped in the over until melted.
