5 stars for flavor, 2 stars for recipe writing. First, don't use foil--this won't stick or burn if you Pam your crock. Beware that this really puffs up--if you try to double this, you may overflow your Crock Pot. Next, the cinnamon sauce will break if you do not boil it longer than indicated in the recipe or shown in the video. It was "

Read all the 5-star reviews--most have major modifications! This is nasty as written....BUT, take out the almond extract and Kahlua, and bump up the chocolate (6 tablespoons cocoa, 12 oz. chocolate chips, divided), it is great. Of course, being off-island, I also did not have access to actual taro leaves. So I have two very useful modifications: (1) this is great with chicken, or even meatless; and (2)...

I just made this exactly as written, and it was easy and delicious. The filling is a little runny, but sets up with baking; do not over-beat the filling (you just want to fold the filling together)--and note that you are just using the lemon zest, not the juice. I let the thawed pastry get too warm, so I struggled with unfolding it--no worries, "
