Tasty, yes. But extremely labor intensive. And, I made (8) large chicken breasts. Who has a pan that big? So, I finished in the oven.

I skipped the dredging and just made more roux, too which I added some garlic. There's garlic in the ingredients, but not in the recipe... Added a lot more wine, the mushrooms, some white pepper....

Great cookies! I cut the second baking time in half so they remain soft and chewy. I always serve these at my absinthe parties and they are a big hit!
