Reviewed bloody mary flank steak

This was OK, not stellar. We were trying to recreate the Bloody Mary Flank Steak from Bud's Butcher Shop in Penngrove, CA but fell short. If making it again I think I would cook down the marinade so it is thicker and adheres more to the steak.

In Oprah's version she cooks the marinade down after removing the steak and serves...

Reviewed Authentic Italian Meatballs

This was a perfect recipe, prepared exactly as written. When slow simmered just like my Nonna used to do, the meatballs are perfectly textured. Italian breadcrumbs and a good quality parm
give the meatballs just the right touch of truly authentic flavor. This will be my "go to" meatball recipe from now on!"

I wasn't too excited about this recipe when I prepared it because the ingredients seemed so simple and mundane however, the manicotti were truly luxurious and yummy when prepared as written just like most of Giada's recipes!"
