Reviewed Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes
"Tried out this recipe for part of Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a big success ~ everyone like it! While some recipe's that use "real" potatoes end up less like mashed potatoes and more like "mashed raw potatoes with a strong plain potato flavor" these came out perfectly. These are really, really good. I might try adding some cheesy next time for "cheesy-garlic potatoes" (using this recipe as a base). Not sure I can go back to a regular "box mix" now! Thanks Alton!
Although a small warning: this recipe makes - a lot - of mashed potatoes! Although we had no trouble eating the leftovers within a week, this might be inconvient for those that live alone, or are just trying to find a mashed potato recipe for a small, two-person dinner.
