Reviewed Simply Delicious New York-Style Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce

"This was my first time making a baked cheesecake. The recipe was easy to follow. I didn't have the orange or lemon zest so I added a little extra vanilla extract. I wanted to use amaretto instead of bourbon, but I was out so I used almond extract. Unfortunately a little too much fell in so it was very prominent to me, but it was still good and the texture was perfect. I followed the directions and cooked the cake for 90 mins; however, I turned the oven off and left it in for another 45-60 mins. It set perfectly. Only real issue I had was the top got very dark. I was able to cut it off and no one was the wiser. Next time I'll lower my rack. I can't wait to make another one.
