"I made this recipe before reading the (negative reviews. Like the others who gave this cake a bad rating, I followed the recipe exactly and found it was very dry, heavy, crumbly and dense. The baking time specified is way too long and the outer layer is pretty tough. The frosting makes way too much, although it is tasty. Overall the cake is edible"

"MMM!!! This was tasty! I used white wine versus red, used a rosemary sprig instead of a bay leaf and omitted the celery (cause it's not my thing). It was great! Husband raved. The pork is super tender and I love how the gravy makes itself while it cooks. (I didn't have to break out the immersion blender to make the gravy so that was nice...! A def"
