I made these exactly according to the recipe, except for using half dark chocolate chips half semisweet.
The only other adjustment I made was to make smaller cookies.
Unfortunately, I didn't think this all the way through and didn't adjust the cooking time when I put the first batch in the oven. They are edible, but definitely overcooked....

I have made this recipe a number of times and it is a huge success each time. I have made it as a Passover dessert simply by switching potato starch for corn starch, but it is great any time of year! Best for a crowd, though, as once the whipped cream and fruit is on the meringue it won't keep long.

This was a big hit at Christmas dinner - everyone liked it way more than the stuffing (a personal favorite recipe that apparently my boyfriend's family did not appreciate) I made last year. I liked it, too, and it was simple and quick to make."

Personally, I thought this was too sweet for a side dish, but would make an amazing filling for a sweet potato pie! Everyone else at Christmas dinner didn't seem to mind, they couldn't stop raving about it.

I'll definitely be making this again, though probably reducing the sugar by half."

Wish I had read the reviews before I made them, great advice on fixing dried out dates. I also had problems with my food processor, but that is nothing to do with this recipe. I added a bit of (organic virgin) coconut oil to keep the mixture together, and that worked famously.
Anyway, this is a fantastic, quick, easy, delicious recipe for...

I used this recipe as a basic guideline and read previous reviews to help me along.
I made a lot of substitutions and changes, as I was making yellow squash muffins and not zucchini bread at all.
They came out delicious, so although I cannot comment on the actual result of this recipe, I can say that it is an excellent basic to...

I was not expecting this recipe to go over all that well, but was happily surprised that my very carnivorous boyfriend was totally satisfied with this dish. I have been trying to reduce the amount of meat in our diets and he is generally NOT thrilled with that idea, but I made this recipe as written with a salad and some crusty garlic bread and he"

I was skeptical of so much pork in a chili recipe, as I've usually made chili with all beef, but I figured everything is better with bacon, so I gave it a shot. I followed the recipe exactly other than using 28oz cans of tomatoes (because my store does not have 24oz) and bud light (because why the hell is that in my fridge anyway?).
It turned...

So, so good. I made this for myself and my boyfriend as a side dish and it was still gone before it went bad. That's pretty impressive for eight servings between two people.

I did throw in some cheese other than cheddar (I think it was some kind of swiss...whatever I had lying around) and omitted the onion after having read previous...

Used roundbone chops, the marinade was delicious, and the meat was tender but a little over-cooked going by the cooking times specified. Maybe my chops were thinner or my heat too high, but I would go by internal temperature next time. Also I did use a grill pan, but it is not the greatest and didn't leave me with any pretty grill marks - next ti...

Not bad, but not great. Took more time than just steaming some broccoli and making a cheese sauce and wasn't as tasty. The crackers came out kind of soggy, maybe it needed more cooking time but I would probably just leave them off or use less if I made it again. ""
