I have to wonder if the above reviewer used KOSHER SALT. (as the recipe calls for) Kosher and Sea Salt are a larger grind and have less of a "salty" taste.""
I LOVE to cook. I enjoy collecting new recipes ... but the truth is I rarely follow them "exactly." I think the greatest thing is finding 5 different recipes for the same dish and then just making 1 new recipe from all the parts you really liked about the other 5.
Also, it is fun to create new recipes flying by the seat of your pants and whatever happens to be in your cupboard ... My friends call me "a little bit of this and a little bit of that type of cook." Ha!Ha! Well, that is how I came up with my very special "Pantry Meatloaf" recipe. A meatloaf so good I am asked to make it all the time!!
Cooking is FUN!!
Favorite FoodsI am really into ethnic foods. Right now I am going crazy for Indian ... but my favorites change all the time. (a few months ago it was Vietnamese)
As far as foods I like to cook - I think I am asked to cook meatloaf and meatballs and pasta (both my own recipes) the most often, but I do a lot of different dishes.
