I was surprised at how delicious this came out! It's such a great comfort food that I know I will be this making again in the future. And it's actually simple to make. This would be the perfect dish to impress family or friends. However next time I think I will make the rice layer just a little thinner. Use a whole pound of whatever ground meat yo"

i think this may have been the best macaroni and cheese i've probably made! however, there were some things that i changed that would solve the whole greasy problem. first off, i used a whole pound of mini rotini. one 12 oz can evaporated skim milk plus a 1/2 cup of milk. now here's the catch, after cooking the pasta add 3-4 tbs of softened butter"

the taste of all the layers was very yummy. however my jello made my cream cheese layer loosen and it kinda looked like mush. i chilled the cream cheese for about a half hour, should i do longer? or chill the jello mixture in the fridge because having it at room temp. didn't work for me. maybe i should try paula's strawberry pretzel salad.."

i agree, i think there is too much mayo for the recipe. i like the flavor combo and the process of making the shrimp, but i think i will substitute something else for the mayo."

Reviewed Crab and Ricotta Cannelloni

Mar 18, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

it's interesting that people actually gave this a terrible rating. although i did make some pretty major adjustments. just went crabbing the other day and used a pound of fresh dungeness. i used a 1/2 cup of both ricotta and whipped cream cheese, since cream cheese seems to go pretty well with crab. instead of basil i used 2 1/2 tsp of old bay seasoning....

This risotto was actually pretty good. It was my first time cooking risotto and I know I will definitely be making it again. However this recipe was a little too rich for me. The taste was amazing though. I would recommend making this. I'll do some of my own tweaks in the future."

@melanideal it says in the recipe to reserve one cup of noodles for the round 2 recipe. which is why you had so much noodles compared to sauce.

this was a very delicious and comforting soup! although i will agree with other reviews. definitely need to cut the flour by half and add half a small can of tomato paste to really bring out the tomato taste. but other that, this will definitely take over canned tomato soup for sure. yum!
