"Haven't bake cakes in years and decided to bake Paula's SW Georgia Pound Cake. It was a hit for Christmas. Was asked to make a Coconut Cake and I said never made one but would try. Of course Paula never let me down and so went to her for recipe. My fault for not reading the reviews and advice further, didn't use SR flour so the cake didn't rise. Could have used coconut extract instead of trying to find coconut milk(2-3 stores). But even with all this I'm still going to try it again because even though the cakes didn't rise the taste is delicious and great tasting with my morning coffee. So my first try at this will not be wasted. Paula's still the best whether it's cooking or baking!
