Reviewed Chipotle Cashew Chicken with Brown Rice

Dec 13, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is an extraordinary dish! Instinctively I halved both the steak seasoning and cumin and got excellent results. I thought hubby wouldn't care for a dish so spicy but he went back for seconds and asked me to make it again (and I will...soon!)

Made for the first time last night and I'm glad I did! Cooked it as written with the half-and-half and won't change a thing the next time I make it, which will be very soon! Seasoned perfectly with a classic pot-pie flavor. There are more than four servings here, even if you're all starved to death, so there is plenty of goodness here!

Reviewed Apple-Maple Chicken Sausage Breakfast Sammies

I was very surprised at how easy it was to make DELICIOUS (and relatively health-conscious) homemade sausage. Breakfast for dinner rocks! Two helpings for picky DH along with requests to make this again soon. If you cut back on the butter for the English muffins, skip the cheese, and use EggBeaters, I bet this recipe will be just as amazing. I made...

This is an EXCELLENT choice for the last of your turkey. I was unwilling to risk the last of my apple-sweetened Thanksgiving stuffing on this on this untried recipe, so I simply used some of the delicious, savory stock to moisten some Brownberry stuffing mix. This soup is worth your time and really keeps the spirit of the holiday going for just one...

Reviewed Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Mediocre: "No one hates it, and everyone will eat it." I made it as written for Thanksgiving and it was probably the least interesting dish on the table. I will keep looking for "that" recipe for Mac-n-Cheese-this one just didn't do the trick. More cheese, maybe?

This is THE holiday stuffing. At first try it immediately replaced a "family heirloom" recipe we'd used my entire life. Delicious, easy, and tastes like you slaved. I don't make this into muffins but it is GONE so fast it hardly matters. I always have to run out the day after the holiday and get more ingredients to make MORE (and also make it weeknights...
