This is an great desert. Don't throw it out. Wait a day or two and it gets better. Not such a strong rum flavor. Making it tonight for a potluck in a couple of days. Of course, any rum you have in the house will do. I buy cheap."

I agree, this isn't a very sweet cake, but you can adjust that. Quick, easy, chocolate, serves at least two. I had whipped cream on hand. Made mine in an extra large mug, or as someone else suggested, use 2 ramekins or the like. I read alot of negative reviews, but tastes vary. It's worth at least one try. This is one of those recipes you could h...

I despise the water bath.Whatever Im baking always needs to bake much longer. BUT, I've made this twice and both times were perfect in an hour. It is incredibly rich so you will need the ice cream, a glass of milk or both to go with it. My only adjustment was I used 1 tsp of vanilla extract. The bean is too expensive and I wasnt impressed with it "

What a divine, decadent, rich sauce. I wanted to drink it by itself. The steaks were suprisingly tasty, only seasoned with salt and pepper. Couldn't find the sherry vinegar, so I used 1T of sherry and 1T of white vinegar."

My first souffle and it was a hit. I too had small pockets of egg white but it was fine. I don't like that the recipe is a bit hazey on the type of vessel to use. Clair uses 2 large dishes. Mine didn't rise as high as Clair's, but I think my one dish was bigger than each of her two dishes. Also, mine took 30 in the oven. "

This soup isn't awful, but I expected more flavor. I agree with the other reviews that it is very lemony. I only put in 1/4 C and still very lemony. That's about all I can taste. Before I served it I decided to bulk it up a bit with a can of white beans. But, I don't think I'll fix this again.
