Fabulous apple cake. I followed it exactly. Next time I am going to add a pinch more salt (1/8 tsp). It needs more salt, definitely. I think it'll probably need 1/4, but I don't want to add too much so will try the smaller addition first. Make sure you don't cut your apples too big so it will stay together nicely. No, don't slow it down; it'll just dry out. Take it out, cover it and let it sit on your counter. It'll still be GREAT! Don't carve it yet though.

The reason being is that I store the oatmeal in the fridge for the whole week and it takes up less space and I add milk as I'm heating it up.
