"The directions call for adobo, but it is not in the ingredient list. So I didn't have it when it was time to go. So I threw in some cabernet and maple syrup for an illogical substitute. Very delicious. "

Reviewed Holiday Rum Balls

"I make these often. I have tried to make a smaller bite size rum ball, but they don't seem to get very round.

Instead of all having powered sugar coating, I roll some in flaked coconut and others in sprinkles. Mo better, Mo fun.

I also added to 2 tablespoons of coco powder because that is how mom used to make them.

Reviewed Bacon-Apple-Jalapeno Pop 'Ems

"Great combination of ingredients, but I am in Texas so we would traditionally have to dial down the healthy aspects of jalapenos. I added a layer of sliced, fresh tortilla outside the bacon. Adds crunch and maybe only 5 calories each.

superpancake: Take the extra filler, roll with enchilada sauce into tortillas, drown in more enchilada sauce, add Roundy's shredded cheese on top, and bake.
