"I have made these a few times now. And my family loves them. These are so easy to make. I make them just as they are here. I haven't made the sweet or savory versions. I make a blueberry sauce to fill them with. . . they are so good. Blueberry sauce: 2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries in a pot with 1/4 c of water, 3 tbs of brown sugar and 1 tbs"

About Me

I am cooking more and LOVING IT! There is a joy I found in cooking for my family that I didn't have before. I think about the Proverbs 31 mother in the bible...I have a long way to go, but now I understand about delighting in making foods for my family before they wake in the mornings. I have seen my husband's grandma get up early and cook before we were up and breakfast was ready. Old-school you might call it. I now see why she did it. She was saying "I love you". I'm so glad I am now able to see the value of that kind of love and practice it. It's never too late to learn. Believe me if I can change my view about cooking, anyone can with help from above, of course.
