PERFECT recipe! I have never liked Red Velvet Cake. It';s the thought of all of that dye. Yuck! So I used Wilton gel food coloring and it became a deep red with just a tiny bit. I also subbed butter for the shortening.

I made sure to pull this out as soon as it was done and it was extremely moist! Those saying it was...

Fantastic recipe! I gave it only four stars because it doesn't make enough to cover a standard red velvet cake. I will definitely double it from now on.

This recipe is good, but needs SALT. Badly. The recipe says to add salt and pepper, but I think it would be helpful if it specified an amount and then one could season to taste after the initial salting. I would make it again but add a solid 1-2 tsp salt to the ricotta mixture. I added fresh basil instead of fresh parsley and it was a great addi...

Great recipe!! I double it since I was making it for my entire family and the stated recipe says it serves 2. That must be 2 manly ranchers, because this made A LOT. When I doubled the recipe it made much more than 4 servings - more like 6 or 7 adult servings.

I felt the rice noodles got lost and were hard to manage so next time...

FROSTING REVIEW ONLY - I made a different scratch cupcake recipe and made this chocolate frosting to top them. I found it to be too loose for me. Maybe I should have waited until the melted chocolate was cooled completely? It was just slightly warm. I ended up putting this into a stand mixer and adding and additional 1/4 c. cocoa powder and 3/4...

Like many others, WAY to lime-y. I have found other similar recipes lacking in lime flavor so I made this exactly as written, but it was too much lime for me. I will reduce the lime amount by half next time I make it. Otherwise it's a keeper!"

User Error perhaps? I made this exactly by the recipe and the instant tapioca didn't dissolve properly during baking. I had awful little lumps of gelatin in my tart. Not sure how this happened."

This soup has a great flavor. We loved it. I like a thicker soup, so I thickened it with some cornstarch, but that's a personal preference. It's very healthy in general, but we choose recently to sub out the heavy cream for non-fat half and half and it works great!"

Amazing! Very easy to make and very flavorful and delicious. I used chicken breasts instead of thighs and I doubled the amount of garam masala. It was wondeful! I will be adding this to our permanent recipes. Thanks for taking the intimidation out of Indian cooking, Aarti!
