Reviewed California-Style Chopped Salad with Shrimp

"I made the salad for dinner tonight, the veggies and salad itself had great flavors, but I wasn't too happy with the dressing. About Me

Hi everyone,

Ok so I just really started cooking more lately because my fiance has celiacs and has to be in a gluten free diet. Well, I didn't realize how annoying it was looking at every ingredients at the store and having to buy two things of a lot of regular food I used to buy. When I buy bread it has to be gluten free for my fiance and then whole wheat for me (and so on). The Holiday season inspired me to start cooking a lot of gluten free food for both my fiance and I. It's a little bit more work, but it's not that bad because many times I'm just substituting a lot of flour with wheat free flour. It's also good because I know how frustrating it is for my fiance to watch me eat chocolate cake, cookies, and pasta whenever we're out to dinner and he can't because let's face it, how many restaurants offer gluten free menus. It definitely gave me more passion towards cooking and am so excited to make my fiance something new each day. He hasn't had pizza and banana bread for years and he had them both 'gluten free' within just a couple of days and he loves it :)
