Reviewed Thanksgiving Turkey Brine
"Absolutely wonderful! I hated making the turkey because my fear of undercooking the turkey always made it dry and tough. I also have a tendency to tweak recipes but I resisted on this and followed exactly. I'm glad I did, the turkey came out moist & delicious! YAY! I can now cook a turkey! The only thing I reduced was cooking time and went by a thermometer because I cooked a small turkey. If you are worried about the lemon zest butter, don't be, there is no lingering lemon taste. The only issue I have with this recipe is it not having suggestions to increase or decrease ingredients and cooking times for varying turkey sizes. For those who don't know 1 quart= 4 cups.
