Light, fluffy, flavorful. This is a great recipe for basic buttercream frosting.

Reviewed Chocolate Fudge Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Chocolate Ganache Glaze

Jan 12, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This cake was incredibly moist and fantastic. I did three 9" round cake pans, and it took about half an hour to cook, too. I used the easy buttercream frosting recipe from this site instead (just because I wanted to use less butter, and that one only calls for 2 sticks). I also had to use coconut oil instead of canola, and subbed in half whipping...

This recipe was really simple, and was a hit at our Fourth of July BBQ! It was simple enough to make, and has a beautiful presentation. The cream cheese sets this trifle apart!"

I did simmer for a couple of hours and the meat was fall apart tender! Flavor was amazing. This is such a simple recipe too! Makes me want to buy lamb more frequently.

I made this again (9/2/12) and didn't simmer as long (just a few minutes more than the recipe stated because we were waiting for the quinoa to cook). We also served...

So very easy! It makes WAY too much frosting. Half it. You might still have extra. I was wishing this made more than 14 cookies. They were delicious!"

I use milk instead of cream. It's still fabulous. The croutons absolutely MAKE this meal though. By far my kids' favorite part. SO EASY too!""

This is incredible! The feta and tomato mixture really makes this recipe what it is. I've made it twice in the past few weeks, and am already wanting to make it again! Definitely a winner!"
